Carolina Designer Home.
A designer’s personal kitchen: Maker Series Shaye doors in Element on Maple, with Quiet Black accent doors. The look clients all over the country are now asking for.
The hardest client is the one who designs for a living.
A designer’s own kitchen is the hardest brief in the business. She spends her days building other people’s visions. For her personal kitchen in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, the vision was finally hers, and it had to be exactly right.
The problem with a look this specific is that most cabinet lines force a compromise: the right door in the wrong finish, or the right finish at the wrong price. She brought the vision. We brought the Maker Series and a factory-direct process built to hit it.
The plan was simple: Shaye doors in Element on Maple for warmth, with Quiet Black accent doors adding contrast at the lit glass uppers. Factory finished, delivered fully assembled.
It turned out amazing. Her word, and ours. And the look is traveling: clients all over the country are now asking us for this kitchen.
