This Everett custom home was built around its setting: timber beams, a stone fireplace, and mountain light through every window. Painted boxes would have fought the house. So the cabinetry is rustic alder, full of knots and character, under a warm Prairie stain that lets the grain do the talking.
Built worked with the homeowner and the builder from the first drawings to create a kitchen and bath that fit the home exactly. Designer Series with Evereve doors runs through the kitchen, the primary bath, and the fireplace built-ins, so the same wood carries from room to room. White quartz, brass hardware, and a matching alder hood keep it refined instead of rustic-for-the-sake-of-it.
Everything arrived fully assembled and factory finished, stained consistently across every door in every room. That consistency is the hardest thing to get from site-finished cabinetry, and the first thing you notice walking through this house.
Character wood, kept in check
Rustic alder brings knots and movement that paint can never fake. The Prairie stain keeps it warm and even, so the kitchen reads custom mountain home, not cabin kit.
