The Glenn Remodel.
Craftsman Series Bristol doors in Alabaster, with a custom wood hood and floating shelves built on site by the contractor. Factory cabinets, field craft.
Factory cabinets and field craft, working the same wall.
This South Carolina remodel is a contractor's project, and it shows how good contractors use Built. The cabinet package came from the factory: Craftsman Series boxes with Bristol doors in Alabaster, fully assembled, square, and ready to hang. The character came from the field: a custom wood hood and matching floating shelves the contractor built on site.
That split is the whole point. The contractor did not burn days building boxes and spraying doors. He hung a finished cabinet package, then spent his craft hours where they show: the hood over the range and the open shelving beside it, warm wood against clean Alabaster.
The result reads fully custom at a remodel budget, and the kitchen went from demo to done on a contractor's schedule. Every box arrived finished off the truck, so the only thing built on site was the part worth building on site.
The contractor's hood
The wood hood and floating shelves are the contractor's own work, built on site to warm up the Alabaster. Factory cabinets gave him level, square runs to build against.
Fast base, custom face
Craftsman Series ships fast and arrives fully assembled, so the schedule stays a remodel schedule. The custom touches go where they earn their keep, instead of into building boxes.

The Main Run
Bristol doors in Alabaster wrap the window wall, with stainless keeping it simple.

The Peninsula
The microwave drops into the peninsula, and the contractor's shelving carries the wood to this side of the room.
