This is the second spec house from the northwest Washington custom builder behind Spec No. 1, and they did not repeat themselves. Where the first house went Cloud gray with black steel, this one goes warm: a Blond kitchen with an Element on Maple island, wood tones layered on wood floors.
The package is Maker Series again, this time with Evereve doors and slab drawer fronts. The stained maple carries from the island to the primary and hall bath vanities, so the warmth is a decision that runs through the house instead of a one-room accent. Black faucets, pendants, and mirror frames keep it from going soft.
Two spec houses, one series, two completely different rooms. That is the point of the Maker Series for spec builders: the factory and the schedule stay the same while the look changes with the market. Fully assembled, factory finished, delivered.
Two tones, one house
Blond on the perimeter, Element on Maple on the island and every vanity. The stained pieces tie the kitchen to the baths, and factory finishing keeps the maple identical in all three rooms.
The sequel spec
Same builder, same Maker Series, opposite look. When the cabinet line can swing from Cloud and black to Blond and maple without changing lead times, spec planning gets a lot easier.
