The Nowell Remodel.
Maker Series Evereve doors in Blond, with the island and hood in Element on Oak: a remodel addition designed with the builder and the family, together.
An addition is a promise. The kitchen has to keep it.
The Nowell family did not just remodel, they added on. When you move walls for a kitchen, the kitchen has to be worth the construction. So Built worked closely with their builder and with the family to design this one: Maker Series, Evereve doors, a bright Blond finish, and the island and hood stained Element on Oak.
The two finishes do the room's heavy lifting. Blond keeps the perimeter light and clean against the hexagon mosaic, while the oak island and matching hood ground the space and pick up the floors. Double ovens hold the baking, the cooktop sits under the oak hood, and a pull-out organizer keeps tools off the counter.
Every cabinet arrived fully assembled and factory finished, designed in full 3D renderings before a single box was ordered. Three people signed off on this kitchen: the client, the builder, and their Built Rep. That is how it ended up perfect for the family that lives in it.
Two finishes, one room
Blond on the perimeter keeps the addition bright. Element on Oak on the island and hood adds the warmth, with real grain showing through the stain. The pairing reads intentional from every seat in the room.
Designed three ways
Client, builder, and Built Rep worked from the same 3D renderings until the layout was right. The result fits how this family cooks, not a showroom floor plan.

The Cooktop Wall
Hexagon mosaic runs the wall and the oak hood anchors it between Blond uppers.

The Oven Wall
Double ovens built into the Blond run, with drawers handling the base storage.

The Hood
Element on Oak up close: the stain that ties the hood, the island, and the floors together.

The Pull-Outs
A pull-out organizer keeps tools at the cooktop and off the counters.

The Sink Window
The sink lands under the backyard window, wrapped in quartz.

The Corner
The working corner, with the oak hood carrying the warmth across the room.
