Southeast Cherry and Maple.
Manchester doors in Custom Blue and Element on Cherry, with Truro doors in Element on Maple beyond the kitchen. A builder's personal home, and it shows.
When a builder builds his own home, you see what he really thinks.
Builders spend their careers installing other people's selections. So when this Southeast builder built his own South Carolina home, the cabinet order was a verdict: Built Designer Series through the whole house, and not a safe choice anywhere in it.
The kitchen runs Manchester doors two ways: a warm Element stain on cherry around the perimeter, and a Custom Blue on the island and the tall wall of glass uppers. A plaster hood, brass hardware, and a microwave drawer tucked into the island back keep the showpieces working for a living. Past the kitchen, the laundry and bath switch to Truro doors in Element on Maple, with a folding counter, a tiled sconce-lit vanity wall, and a checkerboard floor.
Details everywhere, exactly as the builder ordered them. Every cabinet arrived fully assembled and factory finished, with the custom color matched to his sample and sprayed with the same consistency as the production stains. That is the point of factory direct: bold choices without finishing risk.
A custom color, factory finished
Custom Blue is not a catalog color. It was matched to the builder's sample and factory sprayed, so the island, the tall wall, and the glass uppers all read as one piece.
Details everywhere
Glass front uppers with brass, a microwave drawer in the island, a laundry folding counter, a checkerboard powder bath. Nothing in this house came off a rack.

The Island
Custom Blue under white quartz, long enough to run the room.

The Tall Wall
Floor to ceiling Manchester doors in Custom Blue, glass up top and brass throughout.

The Range Wall
The plaster hood floats between blue glass uppers over the range.

The Working Side
A microwave drawer built into the island, where the showpiece earns its keep.

The Laundry
Truro doors in Element on Maple with a built-in folding counter under the window.

The Powder Bath
A sconce-lit tile wall, a maple vanity, and a checkerboard floor. Details everywhere.
